I have told myself for years that I don’t need to work out.
I have little kids! I don’t sit all day. I eat right. I’m good! And then I got an InBody scan and that visceral fat number scared me. Now, I don’t think the machine can be extremely accurate, but still. It was high. But my diet is in check, how could that be? Turns out, the only way to combat visceral fat is exercise.
Enter: my personal trainer. Thank you, acac and Paige! Now I have a plan and can execute the plan. I just need to make sure I don’t let excuses try to keep me from that plan. I almost skipped my workout because I told myself I had already showered. I did my workout anyway.
What’s your favorite way to get moving?
It really doesn’t matter what you choose as long as it’s high intensity. My workouts are only a half hour, and I am seeing great results. Stay tuned for the before and after…
We make happen what we prioritize.
Small yeses leads to big change. Those seemingly insignificant small choices you make each day may not look like much, but over time you’ll see the results.
Other people do that with me for help with food. Accountability is huge. Getting help from an expert is key.
Do you have your food right?
This is the power of food choices. When it comes to food, I’m good. It’s kinda my thing, so if you struggle in this area, I got you! Don’t get me wrong I love me some nachos + fries every once in a while. No one needs to live a life of depravation. If you’re eating habits are wracked with guilt, shame, and just plain misery, let me help! I’m in this for the long haul and don’t believe in quick fixes or magic pills, but if the reminder that bathing suit season is coming at the end of this month is motivation for you, let’s do this!
