Do you buy tomato sauce and/or pasta sauce?
Here are some things you might want to consider.
Have you looked at the ingredient label? There are likely hidden things like oils and sugars that you don’t want or need in your body. Not all oils are considered equal. As a general rule, we steer clear of vegetable and canola oil.
It’s so easy to make your own sauce! Just blend a can or two of diced tomatoes and add some spices like Italian seasoning, allspice, and cumin and you’ve got your own sauce. If you grow your own tomatoes, that’s even better!
Watch out for convenience foods. That’s where lots of people go wrong in their eating. If you want help kicking processed foods, that’s my jam.
