Happy November! I am coaching a new round of 30 Day Transformation clients this month and I live for all the questions that get thrown at me because knowledge is power for anything in life including our health! One of the most popular questions:
How much water should I be drinking every day?
Of course it depends on many factors (diet, activity level, weather), but a good rule of thumb to use is half an ounce to an ounce of water per pound of body weight.
Sound impossible? Make it a goal to drink more than you have been. Something is better than nothing. I carry around a 32 oz water bottle with me everywhere to make it easier to drink more and track how much I am drinking.
Don't like the taste of water?
I am happy to send you some things that may help:
- Hydration: This is a good alternative to Gatorade, Propel, Gatorade, etc. that are filled with artificial flavors, sweeteners, and dyes that aren't doing you any favors.
- Fizz Sticks: This is a good alternative to synthetic caffeine energy drinks with artificial flavors, sweeteners, and dyes that have been linked to some pretty scary health conditions.
Happy Fall! Drink your water ya'll!
