All things in moderation is a cliche that I do not apply when it comes to Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). The question is not whether GMOs are harmful, but whether the pesticides used on that food we consume is harmful.
I understand the whole concept of sustainability. Farmers need to use pesticides to protect crops that feed billions of animals and people. But! There are safer alternatives than what is being used. I vote with my dollar and buy organic. My goal is to educate as many people as possible to question why they eat what they eat and not do so blindly following like sheep. A little GMO soy isn't going to kill you, but we are talking about habits that people have consistently.
